Making ends meet

I've been a student for 12 months now and I was lucky enough to be able to work remotely for my old employer until the economic downturn meant work dried up there around April time this year so I have had to become inventive in ways to make a bit of extra cash to help support me through my studies. Though I'm married, it was always the deal that I'd support my self as much as possible through college seen as Andy pays all the bills here at the house.

So... part of me going to college was my conscience decision to make the most of life and to not waste any more of my time working at something that wasn't using my true potential or that wasn't fulfilling. Losing my dad made me realise how short life is.

This summer I decided to turn one of my other hobbies in to a way of making cash so I have taken my love of crochet/knitting and have set up an Etsy shop and a small business selling iphone/ipad/mobile phone covers, toys and various items. It's been great and has kept me busy.

Check out my Etsy Shop.
