Well worth a look

We were watching Top Gear the other night and they were talking about the Euro NCAP car safety test ratings on cars and how different vehicles faired when crash tested at 40 miles an hour. It was frightening! They basically show you how safe you and your passengers would be if you should crash. It was a real eye opener. Some vehicles which you would think would fair really well and would be really safe and solid turned out to crumple like pieces of paper when in an accident leaving any survivors in a bad state.

So, today I went on line to look on the Euro NCAP site to see how our cars faired. Luckily both came out with 4 stars out of 5 which means, should the worst happen, we have a fairly good chance of survival... phew. Next time I buy a car i'll definately be checking these first. What's more, if my car had come out with a lower rating I'd seriously now be thinking of changing it after seeing some if the images they showed on the show.
