I came across this article thanks to fellow blogger Dooce. It's from the Guardian online and shows a series of pictures taken as part of a project, by 2 artists, where a group of people who were dying were photographed and interviewed towards the end of their lives and then photographed after death. It's caused controversy on Dooce's blog as some people complained that it was morbid or sensationalised and in bad taste but I've been mesmerised by it and actually find it very emotional and beautiful. I guess you can judge for yourself.
LIFE BEFORE DEATH
It's really got me thinking about my attitudes towards death and especially after losing my dad less than a year ago it's been somewhat theraputic to think some of this through. Death is something we ALL have to face and is everyones ultimate fate but we all deal with it differently. It's something that few of us speak openly about.
